The question asked are very simple and people can easily answer the question by looking at Internet.
Even if people do not look at internet the answers are fairly easy. This is nothing but a lottery. But the rules of lottery are not applied to the amounts involved.
Late Night Programes on TV
There are / were late programes on National TV channels wherein host used to ask the viewers to recognise face of an actor or actress. Only half of the face used to be shown on TV.
The phone numbers given for such contests were premium numbers wherein charges were Rs. 10 per minute. After the viewer calls those numbers he will be put on hold, while the meter is running.
This was nothing but fraud. The criminal complaint of the same was made to Police and commissioner of police more than 1 year back.
Result - nothing was done. If any thing was done - it was not brought to my notice.
